A Bonus Bimble
Sunday 24th September, 2006
I wasn't really expecting to fly, since all the planes were booked out for the day. However Juliet Mike came back early, and the weather was so nice that it really couldn't be helped! It had been a while since I'd flown the TB10, but currency on the 200 autonatically confers currency on the 10. One of the students, Ralph, had just finished his RT written exam and had had his flying cancelled, so I suggested he might like to come along, and he readily agreed.
We headed off West over the Cotswold ridge, and then headed up to Evesham before turning back towards Banbury and home, and a selection of circuits completed the hour. The air was silky smooth, with not even a hint of bumpiness over the ridges, and excellent visibility. There were some impressive cloudscapes to be seen, and this selection of pictures was taken by Ralph from the right hand seat...
